Former Canadian Diplomat, Ian Macdonald, Says South Africans Should Have Arrested Mulroney

Spread the love

Did you catch the picture of Harper and 3 no-less-hypocritical former Canadian. Prime Ministers having a good laugh on their way to the Mandela funeral ceremony — at our considerable expense of course.? The South Africans should have detained Mulroney and put him on trial for all the hardship he helped to impose through sanctions, from which the blacks suffered most. IV

Dear Sir

Nelson Mandela’s debt of gratitude

Missing from the recent eulogies and unbridled adulation heaped upon Nelson Mandela for his contribution to Black emancipation from White Rule, was any hint of gratitude towards White South Africans, without whose presence, goodwill and generosity the Great Man would have spent his shortened life as a nonentity, if he were lucky enough to survive even childbirth.

The same chastening reality of course applies to virtually all Blacks in South Africa who have received the benefits of Western civilization: efficient government, education through university, medicare, housing, water, electricity, productive employment, personal security and the Rule of Law. The Whites also provided a vast infrastructure of road, rail and air connections that served all sectors of the population, raising the indigenous people from the subsistence level to that of the healthiest, best-educated and most prosperous in the Third World, with a living standard comparable to that of millions of Whites worldwide..

Best of all, the Whites brought order and a workable form of multiculturalism to the region that respected the culture, traditions and language of all vulnerable minority groups including Zulu, Venda, Xhosa, Swazi, Basutos, Bushmen, Hottentots, East Indians, Cape Coloureds, Afrikaners and those of other “Europeans” (mainly British). Had Mandela initially worked within this well-adapted, prolific, benevolent order rather than resorting to violence, the future of South Africa would have been assured, instead of jeopardized, as it stands today.

Nelson Mandela amazingly achieved his goal of toppling the White government, if not the White Establishment, but probably went disillusioned to his grave as he witnessed the abuses, incompetence, irresponsibility, corruption, violence and disintegration that threatens now to become his legacy (If indeed the premature abdication of Whites leads to insoluble problems, a good part of the blame can be placed on the shamelessly hypocritical Brian Mulroney who led the howling pack of anti-White racists demanding sanctions that forced the White government to capitulate).

Perhaps Mandela’s Sainthood will remain a powerful beacon for tolerance, freedom and stability in South Africa, but if the fragile social order should weaken further, prompting an exodus of indispensable white farmers, miners, managers and professionals, the premature introduction of “democracy” could easily turn one of the world’s most beautiful countries into just another African basket case..
