Is it really true that there is no will amongst any of the Parliamentarians to keep faith with the electorate and do the right thing?
The anger that is bubbling up in this country now is rather like a pressure cooker.
May is proposing that a nominally Conservative Government collaborate with a Marxist opposition to enforce a Vichy-like arrangement, to be arrived at via a modern Versailles Treaty, complete with huge, ridiculous and open-ended financial obligations.
And so, almost inevitably, we have reached the point where “any deal is better than no deal”. And Theresa May’s treachery and her true colours are finally exposed in their entirety.
After years of insisting that the UK would leave with no deal if necessary, she has capitulated for the second time in the space of a fortnight and gone cap in hand to the EU, begging for an extension to negotiations.
It’s such a tragic betrayal of the voters, of democracy and of the entire country and its history.
We could’ve left. It could all be over already.
Instead, a handful of self-serving, self-important, wealthy elitists in a crumbling old building in a decaying city, have decided that the rest of the country doesn’t matter. Democracy doesn’t matter. Political parties don’t matter. Election manifestos don’t matter. Promises don’t matter. Words don’t matter.
And they are going to let their pompous puppet-masters in the rotten institution that we’re trying to leave, decide if we are ever to be granted our freedom.
These disgusting, wicked people simply have no morals or consciences. They are vile, sub-human despots.
