As reported on the British National Party website
A student who was asked to not wear her cap in Bromley College says she will not agree unless Muslim women remove their headdresses as well.
Caroline Powell, from Orpington, is a student at Greenwich University, which uses facilities in Bromley College in London.
Caroline has been instructed several times to remove her cap, but she maintains the belief that while Muslim women are permitted to don headdresses, the college is guilty of double standards.
Miss Powell told a local paper “It started in September last year when I got stopped at the door by a woman and she said ‘you need to take your cap off’.
”It is a small black leather cap but it’s part of my identity. She said ‘you need to take it off, they are the rules’. “A Muslim woman walked in behind me and I asked if she was going to ask her to take off her headdress. ..”
The College told Miss Powell her cap should be removed for security reasons but Caroline responded “They said it was so they could ID all users of the college, so nothing can obscure their face. But all these Muslim women are walking in with scarves across their face.”
Miss Powell fears she will be thrown off the course at Bromley College as she continues to make a stance, which has resulted in tensions between her and staff.
She said: “If one rule is made for all then fine, but I am not going to be treated like this when everyone else is allowed to do what they want. I feel it is totally double standards.”

Caroline Powell – I applaud you!
Although you are a youngster, you are showing a remarkable level of maturity by standing up for your beliefs and exposing the appalling double standards of the British Establishment – who pander to the whims of foreigners and spit on the British people.
I hope you will inspire other youngsters to take up peaceful rebellion to restore our common law rights, which are enshrined in our constitution. Article 61 of the Magna Carta requires that all free men and women to take up Lawful Rebellion when those in public office are acting in an unlawful manner.
Currently, most of Britain’s freedom rebels are over a certain age, mainly because we can still remember how free we used to be, before our country became a police state. But, our youngsters have never experienced such freedom in our own country and anyone under the age of thirty has become accustomed to the current standards of oppression, which start in infant school.
As a 61 year old rebel, I would like to thank you for your bravery. I hope you will continue to do the right thing for yourself, your family, your ancestors and your descendants – and never surrender!
Excellent stuff , I hope this young lady has plenty of fellow pupils backing her.
If only we had more young people with so much pride.
It’s just a pity that the officials at Bromley college are void of such pride and are too weak to tell their protected one’s to uncover their faces.
I’d imagine if all proud like minded students boycotted the college in the event of this wonderful young lady being persecuted the college would suffer far more than the students.
