No matter what we offer them, they still will want more. Walk away.
May is as much as a threat to the future of the UK as Merkel is to Germany, her speech in Florence showed her true colours , she capitulated instead of threatening the EU.
Time is running out to clinch a deal. But no deal would be a worse scenario for the EU that it would for the UK – no money paid, EU courts no longer having jurisdiction in UK, WTO tariffs for trade, no migrants to UK, etc.
Given the comments over the weekend in response to Teresa May’s most recent capitulation, the EU doesn’t recognise that the payment for the transition period is all the money that’s on offer. They want more, and will continue to want more until its too late.
No deal remains the most likely scenario, and if UK businesses have not had a plan for the EU going away given the problems it has seen since 2012, the management of these businesses are nothing short of negligent.
After what the Labour party had to say, you can see they are as mad as a box of frogs, re nationalise everything, the right of EU citizens in the UK and sod UK citizens rights.
Merkel is in a mess in Germany trying to form a majority government of three parties with different views, France marching against labour reforms. the list of attacks on the people goes on and then we have surrender monkey May.
Politicians of the major parties in western Europe all need to go.
