Police chiefs have said they are “not interested” in pursuing former residents of the burnt out Grenfell Tower block who should not have been in the country or were illegally or sub-letting their flats, because “That’s not what we are here for.”
The police are not interested in pursuing people who break the law because something bad has happened to them or * to the poor buggers whose deaths they contributed to by cramming them into a fire trap without anyone knowing*
Does that “logic” apply to anyone who’s had something bad happen while committing a criminal act? What about those 2 scum who murdered Lee Rigby? They were shot and injured by the police. Surely therefore they should be let off?
So, let get this straight….
1. They had entered and were living in this country illegally.
2. They were living in sub-let council flats, which again is illegal and those who were renting them out were committing fraud.
3. They are now impeding investigations because they’ve broken the law and don’t want to get caught so refuse to come forward, which makes them guilty of obstruction of justice, which is again illegal.
Is there any rules or laws they must follow or is it once again a case of tribal politics rules and we’ve gone back to playing the game of “double standards” because of their race, skin colour and country of birth?
If you break the law, the police should pursue you. That is their job. Selective application of the rule of law means there is no rule of law.
The police cannot simply pick and choose which laws to enforce and which ones to ignore – this makes a mockery of the whole justice system and only fuels suspicion that the entire police constabulary is politically biased and only interested in pursuing anti-establishment targets who do not tow the politically-correct line such as monitoring Katie Hopkins Twitter or the relentless persecution of Tommy Robinson.
A tragedy but this is so wrong, illegals , sub letters should be prosecuted and if found guilty deported. Soft government again sending out the wrong message.
This stinks of political corruption.
