So Tristram Hunt, an arch Remainer, is happy to step into the shoes of the previous V&A director who announced he was leaving because he’s “disillusioned with Brexit”, as widely bemoaned and retweeted by Remainers.
If “disillusionment with Brexit” is a reason not to be V&A director, doesn’t that also disqualify Hunt?
The establishment has been entirely captured by the left, that is the reason we have spent so long subjugated by the EU.
Labour party drifting into oblivion. Haven’t represented working people for decades. You only have to look at the people involved, all with different “backgrounds” and ideals.
It must be sickening to see the way that communist fool had destroyed their party. The policy of capping people’s income is the most insulting, degrading thing I’ve ever heard from a politician. Essentially telling people you are not allowed to be successful.
This is not a ‘blow for Corbyn’s Labour’. It is a boon because it gets rid of a Blairite leftover without the bad publicity a deselection would entail. ‘Corbyn’s Labour’ is a hard-left sect that has no use for the likes of Hunt, though the reason he is going is because he has no use for it.
A blow for Labour? A much bigger blow for the Arts. Rat and sinking ship come to mind with Tristram Hunt’s resignation!
Labour is a past it force and should disband, after the Blair and Brown debacle it is an old party which is no longer appropriate for today’s politics.
