There is one serious danger to all that is happening in the EU at the moment.
It’s feared Italy’s banking sector could topple if leader Matteo Renzi is forced to resign if he loses Sundays referendum.
Germany is now on the slippery slope and and it is certain it will not be too long before Germany is in crisis.
Should the situation spiral out of control with regard to the banks, and therefore the Euro Zone, then we should not put it past the EU to attempt to declare some form of critical emergency and “temporarily” suspend normal practices, laws and treaties.
EU project stands with one foot in the grave, it’s just a waste of Germany wealth to continue to waste their citizens’ money to a project that has no future anymore.
It will be interesting to see has to how the European Union and European Central Bank manage this particular situation if the worst does indeed happen – will they tap into the bank accounts of individual savers in order to shore-up a failing German,or Italian Bank in the same way that they did with the bank accounts of individual savers in the failing Cypriot Banks some years ago?
Liberals…the poisonous disease given to the planet!
