Who is actually in charge of this country, the government or the judiciary?
The High Court has ruled that the people are not sovereign that those we elect to carry out our democratic wishes in Parliament may in fact ignore our democratic wishes – that we are now ruled by a system of Dictatorship. So be it.
Three un-elected judges block the will of the people, the decision goes to Parliament and Parliament approves Brexit under the time honoured tradition of looking after your own skin, the bill then passes to the un-elected House of Lords which is overwhelmingly Europhile.
These people are playing with fire, which could burn their house down, they better stop looking for a fight because they are becoming preciously close to getting one.
During the debate there was no mention of triggering article 50 having to go before parliament. Was David Cameron lying? Was he ignorant of the law?
If it is the case that it would have to go before parliament *someone in the government of the day* should have said so. Can David Cameron not be called to account for his lies?
If May had got on with it then this wouldn’t have happened, she knew exactly what she was doing. The government have set this up. They are pretending to be indignant.
Typical of the left, elections have no meaning. Referendums if not resulting in the result they want, will simply be nullified.
We negotiated and joined the EU through the Royal Prerogative, we should leave via the same route. This is a stitch-up of epic proportions.
