Osborne does Not preside over a strong economy. Far from it, but most political hacks will not understand why.
Osborne has doubled the national debt, the jobs he creates are low-skilled and low-paid occupied by foreigners massively subsidized by working tax credits. Part time mini-cab drivers in London with large families get 70K in, in work benefits.
We are not returning to pre crisis levels of output, in fact per capita domestic productivity is at best stagnant. Hourly outputs are now less than 2007, and to equate consumption of things such as “free” entertainment, is crass as it stems from high tech investment not from the literally millions of low skilled and low paid who have arrived here to replace proper investment by big corporations.GDP grows, but in a structurally flawed way, whereby the millions no longer meet tax thresholds yet demand high levels of delivery and cost, due to housing, education, healthcare, transport , social services ,and other costs, which The Exchequer can no longer meet.
Immigration and the economy are inextricably linked and we now need to borrow over £300M a day, a figure which is not dropping, in spite of Osborne’s and the Tory party’s lauding of our growing economy,Their ridiculous assertions are daily becoming more ridiculous akin to Cameron;s equally insane pledge to control immigration to below “tens of thousands”
We are emulating the economies of the Sub Continent, on the supply side, with a growing GDP., lower per capita added value, through lack of investment, with a few incredibly wealthy, an increasingly squeezed middle class, and more approaching or falling below accepted norms of poverty.
Nowhere in the mix is there an index for quality of life in the UK, which is decreasing rapidly as result of uncontrolled immigration coupled to lack of control of large corporations and other businesses utilising cheap labour without supporting any of the enormous allied costs.
