We’re just wasting time here.

If the EU had been interested in cutting a sensible deal, allowing Free Trade between the EU and the UK, they would have done it three years ago.

Next round of negotiations, same as the first, an utterly pointless waste of British time, – and time is money.

“…..there will be no “dramatic breakthrough” with expectations that the UK will maintain that it will not budge on restoring full control of her fishing waters or her laws. At the same time, the EU will continue its hard line on Brexit Britain remaining aligned to EU rules — the “level playing field” — and accepting oversight of the European Court of Justice in ruling on the new free trade agreement.”

If you really want to rattle the EU’s cage, just don’t show up to the next waste of time meeting. When they are shocked and demand a reason just say you had something important to do and this wasn’t.

The EU has been draining the mojo of the UK for 25 years. They took everything and gave the UK nothing.

But of course the end of the year is usually pantomime season. With Boris, pantomime season would appear to be a year round occurrence, but with a twist, this performance now varies from the published script, and is hidden behind closed doors, in a distant theatre in a foreign land.

The EU could even impose EU economic stimulus payments on Britain without any funds being payable to us. The EU’s vision of a level playing field is to take away all rights from Britain and to allow some minimal autonomy if sanctioned by the ECJ.

To accept such an arrangement would make having won WWII pointless.

We’re just wasting time here.

Successive governments have backed away from confrontation with the BBC at the last minute. We must seize the moment and make sure Boris does not back down.

Donald Maclean, Guy Burgess, “Kim” Philby and Anthony Blunt.

Not much has changed at Cambridge, though the emphasis is more on Mao than Marx these days.
